Requirements - All Medicals

  1. Photo ID (e.g. Current Australian Driver's Licence)
  2. Any specialist reports/related paperwork requested by authorising body (e.g. CASA/FAA) at your previous medical.
  3. A urine sample will be required for all medicals - please request a collection container on arrival if necessary.

MedXpress (FAA)

  1. For CASA Medicals (CPL, PPL, ATC) you must submit your medical history online via the CASA Medical Records System (MRS) website prior to attending your medical.
    Please go to the link below to start: 
    https://mrs.casa.gov.au/applicant Please fill out the whole form online before attending your medical appointment. You must tick the box on the last page and submit the questionnaire, then you will receive a PDF document of your answers.
  2. For all current pilots & Air Traffic Controllers - bring current medical to extend/revalidate
  3. FAA Pilots please follow this link to MedXpress, complete the medical questionnaire and bring the Confirmation number with you to the medical. 
  4. All pilots - you will need to know your total flying hours, plus hours flown in the last 6 months.
  5. Your medical may require a Fasting Blood Test (no food 10 hours prior to the medical examination, water only).
    Fasting Blood Tests are required for Initial Commercial Pilots and Air Traffic Controller medicals, and for renewals at
    5 year age intervals from 25 years onward.

  1. Please bring your Vaccination Records/Book or Proof of Immunity (blood test results).

Requirements - Professional/Scientific Diver's

  1. Please bring log of dive hours with you.
  2. Please bring a completed Professional Diver form with you (below)
  3. A chest X-Ray is required at the initial medical and every 5 years thereafter.
    To save time, the X-Ray can be organised through your regular doctor and brought with you to the medical - alternatively we can provide you with a referral at the time of your medical.

  1. Please bring completed Recreation Scuba medical form with you to the medical - available here

Other Notes

1. Be advised that you may incur additional expense for any required blood tests/pathology reports.
2. A one-off eye examination is required for initial commercial pilots with a DAO (designated aviation ophthalmologist).
